Dr. Alexander May is a board certified orthodontist committed to creating beautiful, healthy smiles. Raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, he discovered his passion for dentistry while working with his childhood dentist throughout college. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from The Ohio State University, Dr. May moved to New York to pursue his career in dentistry. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dentistry, graduating at the top of his class. He finished his dental education by completing specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at NYU College of Dentistry.

Dr. May prides himself on creating a fun, compassionate environment and believes that clear communication is one of the most important aspects of successful treatment. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, going to the gym and taking walks through the city.

He is an active member of the American Board of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontists and the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists.
