Dr. Daniel Kim grew up in Long Island, NY and has been a New Yorker all his life. He attended Columbia College, Columbia University where he majored in Neuroscience and Behavior and graduated with honors. Attaining a love for dentistry through his father who is a general dentist, Dr. Kim continued his education at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and was awarded the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Award for Exceptional Interest in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex.
During his specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, he also served as part of the team at the Center for Skeletal Dysplasias at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and received the Dr. Thomas Cangialosi Award in recognition of clinical excellence. Dr. Kim currently teaches as part-time clinical faculty at Columbia University Department of Orthodontics.
Dr. Kim offers the latest advancements in orthodontic treatment. He loves what he does for a living and strives to not only deliver the highest level of care but also to build unique and impressionable relations with all of his patients.
